Immanuel Congregational church will be open Halloween night!
There will be a Haunted hallway, treats and friendly goblins and trolls.
Plenty of bats, spiders and ghost to welcome you!
Please take this opportunity to walk through the Church and see a piece of Oxford’s history. A great place to warm up or shelter from the weather. Trick or treat hope to see you there!
During worship on Sunday, October 27th, there will be a blessing of the pets. All creatures great and small are welcome, but please use a leash where appropriate.
Starting at 8:30 a.m., there will be a pancake breakfast benefiting the VFW National Children’s Home. Buttermilk, chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes, sausages and beverage. $6 per person. Children under two eat free! Click here to visit the official VFW National Children’s Home website.
School has started, everyone is home from vacation, everyone’s fall schedule is starting to fill up. Make Sunday morning worship a regular part of your life and join us on this special Sunday kick-off to the new church year.
Come enjoy an outdoor worship filled with music followed by a picnic and games for all ages.
Immanuel will hold a special peace service in Centennial Park on Sunday, July 14th at 11:00 a.m., weather permitting. Chairs will be provided or bring a lawn chair and enjoy our worship service. Activities for children and refreshments! Centennial Park is located one block from the church on M-24 in Downtown Oxford.
Join us Sunday, June 30th as we celebrate UCC Sunday and Open and Affirming Sunday. Our worship will include guest speakers and will honor a member of our congregation who has helped make our church the loving, accepting environment for all who come through our doors. Special refreshments will follow worship.
Immanuel will be celebrating Pentecost on Sunday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m. Pentecost marks the birthday of the Christian Church. Worshippers are invited to wear bright colors.

Immanuel will begin the Lenten Season with the Ash Wednesday service on March 6th at 7:00 p.m. The service will include music, communion and the imposition of ashes.
