On June 11th, Lifetouch Church Directories will be at our church to take photographs for a new church directory. Sessions start at 2:30 p.m. and will last until 9:00 p.m.

Each participating family will receive a free 8 X 10 portrait and a copy of the church directory.

Registration will be after church each Sunday leading up to June 11th. Online registration is available. If your schedule permits, please take an earlier time slot.

Rev. Arthur Habermehl: 1934-2012

Rev. Arthur Habermehl, Pastor Emeritus of our Church passed away last Saturday, March 31, 2012. There will be a memorial service to celebrate his life on Sunday, April 15th at 3:00 p.m. A meal will follow the service.Rev. Habermehl served our church for 33 years, from 1966 to 1999. He will long be remembered for his dedication to social justice, Christian education, and outreach programs for the area’s needy.

Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Service: 11:00 a.m.

The Ash Wednesday service will be Friday, February 22nd at 7:00 p.m. The service will include music, communion and the imposition of ashes.

Our church’s annual meeting will be Sunday, January 22nd following worship and a short luncheon. We will discuss group reports and approve a budget for the coming fiscal year.

There are a lot of events at Immanuel throughout the Christmas season.

• Tuesday, December 13th at 7:00 p.m. – Blue Christmas Service
• Tuesday, December 20th at 6:15 p.m. – Youth Christmas Party and Movie “The Christmas Blessing”
• Saturday, December 24th at 8:00 p.m. – Christmas Eve Candlelight Family Service
• Sunday, December 25th at 11:00 p.m. – Christmas Worship

To help celebrate the beginning of advent, Immanuel will be “hanging the greens” by decorating the church. Ornament decorating will be available for children (make one to put on the tree, take one home). Hot soup and bread will be available afterward followed by a carol sing.

Immanuel is inviting friends and family to a special breakfast and service. A light breakfast will begin at 10:00 a.m. for a time of good fellowship. Everyone is then invited to the worship service at 11:00 a.m. where we will be celebrating our friends.

Immanuel is hosting a Fall Salad Luncheon on Thursday, November 17th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Come enjoy a wide variety of our best salads and desserts. Cost: $6. Price includes beverages. Carryouts available.
