Immanuel Congregational UCC

Immanuel will hold a special peace service in Centennial Park on Sunday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m., weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy our worship service. Activities for children and refreshments!

ONE DAY ONLY! Thursday, May 15th, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Discover your next great find at our annual rummage sale. Baked goods will be offered for sale. All proceeds benefit the ministries at Immanuel Congregational, United Church of Christ. Donations will be accepted Monday through Wednesday.

Join us for hot and cold buffet, dessert and beverages all for $7. A variety of crafts will be offered for sale. Proceeds benefit the ministries of Immanuel Congregational Church. Call 248-628-1610 for carry-out!

The Maunday Thursday service will be on April 17th at 8:00 p.m. It will feature the Tenebrae service of shadows, communion and an anthem by the choir.

On Good Friday, April 18th, at 1:00 p.m., our church will be hosting the Oxford/Orion community Good Friday service.

Easter will be Sunday, April 20th. Start your morning with breakfast at 9:00 a.m. Worship will be at 11:00 a.m. Childcare will be provided.

Immanuel’s 2014 Annual meeting will be held Sunday, January 26th. After worship there will be a lunch followed by the meeting.

There are a lot of events at Immanuel throughout the Christmas season.

• Tuesday, December 10th at 7:00 p.m. – Blue Christmas Service
• Sunday, December 8th at 1:00 p.m. – Christmas Caroling
• Sunday, December 22rd at 11:00 p.m. – Christmas Worship
• Tuesday, December 24th at 8:00 p.m. – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Put on your dancing shoes and join us for the Fall Ball!  $7 for Couples, $5 for singles includes music and dance, appetizers and beverages.

Immanuel’s Fall Luncheon will be Thursday, October 10th from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.. The $7.00 admission includes hot and salad buffets, dessert & beverage. Carry-outs are available. Call (248) 628-1610.

On Sunday, August 18th, our 11:00 a.m. worship will be at Scripter Park. The short service will be followed by a picnic with lots of food and games. Hotdogs and drinks are provided. Bring a dish to pass.
